constructing perfect moments

I’m just going to get into it. You’ll get it shortly.

  • summer stormy afternoon, potentially after a pool day
  • cozy fall late afternoon into evening, Halloween around the corner
    • read: I haven’t read much horror…may I have an assist? For cozy vibes, I was going to say Little Women, but then I thought more contemporary. The Bookshop on the Corner. There.
    • watch: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban or Beetlejuice
    • do: make hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows. even spike it if you’re bad.
  • cold winter morning morning routine and car ride
    • necessary prep: sleep in your cutest and comfiest pajamas with satin eye mask and pillow case. also wash your hair and do a hair mask before bed.
    • upon waking: five minutes of this journal because it’s fun and will keep you sane amid in this frozen hellscape
    • head to kitchen (this list won’t include common sense stuff like brushing your teeth — that’s boring): partake in the cold brew you cranked out last night. oh and here’s good oat milk
    • get dressed in something fire. really play up the winter fox thing. you can get away with it.
    • these gloves are kinda gooby but whatever. and it’s no secret — I’m a sucker for a beanie. this one is just breathtaking. okay I don’t know how cold it is where you live so I’m afraid you’re on your own now!
    • and you thought I’d forget the hand warmers.
    • get in the car: shuffle this bad boy.
  • shady Sunday afternoon, nothing to do

That’s all I’ve got for now, but these are hard! I need to think of more specific moments. I’ll continue! I like this!
